HD version launch

The HD download is up and can be yours for just $1. Or become a Patron and get it that way.

So far, the free version has been played over 10,000 times! WHAAAT! That's mindboggling. (Note that this is including Newgrounds stats) Thanks so much for playing. It really helps motivate me to keep going.

Here's what's upgraded in the new HD version:

• Character sprites re-exported at HD resolution
• Backgrounds re-done for a more watercolor look
  • and newly composed for a 16x9 aspect ratio
• Ink integrated into Unity
  • This was a bit of a headache as I'm not an ace coder but I finally figured it out
• New visual novel UI
  • The free version is designed to play quick and easily on a phone. This version is modeled after traditional visual novels. You've got yourself a title screen, a fullscreen button, a save button, a load button, a button to hide the HUD and see the pictures better, and a quit button.
  • The UI is scalable. Or at least it should be. That stuff is hard. Please don't try to break it. I'm sure it will.

This might seem like a lot for such a short game, but it'll be the working template going forward. I'll be building on it and refining it until I got the UI just right for the big game this is all heading towards.
