Version 0.1.00 public build of Make Your Parents Proud is here!

Ahem, it's just been a lot to get here, but it's finally here. Okay so it's not a true open world, but what we have here is the first overworld location where you can point and click to move around and/or interact with your environment. Mmmm starting to feel sandboxy.

There's a lot in this update, as the previous build was only released to patrons. So...

What else is new?

Wank is included in this build. I've previously made it playable as a standalone and, despite having the least nudity of all my content, is the most successful release I've had yet! (Must be that killer tagline) In Make Your Parents Proud, it will play automatically after completing Undercover At The Nudist's Camp. You need 4 logic points to start Undercover At The Nudist's Camp, but I've added a cheat button in the phone menu, so if you want to skip ahead, just do that to get your points and your good.

Note: There is the possibility of you skipping content and not being able to go back to it in the game's current state. That's because after a critical moment in the game you...turn into a woman! This gives you access to an episode you can only play as a woman (Naked Interns - They're only hiring women), but you lose access to episodes only playable as a man. With the next update, this shouldn't matter anymore, because I plan to have a way to switch back and forth between sexes.

I've been growing a lot since starting last year and I've admittedly put out some art that was hmmmmmm. But I've been working so hard on my craft, getting stronger every day, and while I'm still far from where I want to be, it's worth taking a moment to appreciate that growth. I'm in the process of going back and updating old art that was less desirable. Take a look at some examples:

What's next?

The goal is to make the wild and weird ladies of Make Your Parents Proud datable. I'm currently working on a Chat application for the in-game phone that'll allow you to talk/flirt with characters you've met, ideally leading to a date in a 3d overworld location, a restaurant, bar, pier, etc. If the date goes well...winky emoji.
